Audi Driving Experience
AUDI DRIVING EXPERIENCE AT TORONTO EXHIBITION PLACE
Audi Canada held the Audi Driving Experience at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario recently. Professional drivers showed participants how to improve their advance driving skills using a variety of exercises. The Audi A6 segment of the program showcased the vehicle’s adaptive cruise control technology on a drive through the Exhibition grounds. This was followed by a steering slalom and an ABS emergency braking exercise. During the Audi S4 portion, understeer and oversteer challenges; as well as evasive maneuvers (emergency lane change) exercises were featured.
Each segment included a class instruction explaining the exercise and the principles that underlay it. The event was capped off when each participant was sped around the track in a hot lap by an instructor driving an R8 coupe or convertible. Audi is also holding the event at ICAR circuit in Montreal, Quebec and B.C. Driving Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia in the coming weeks.
