GENERAL MOTORS CALGARY FLEET PREVIEW MEETING FEATURES 2010 BUICK ALLURE AND 2010 CHEVROLET EQUINOX
Roma Pinnell, Compton Petroleum (l), and Tim Stephens, ARI check out the 2010 Buick Allure. Allure, built on GM’s global Epislon platform will be available in two V-6 configurations, paired to a 6 speed automatic transmission.

Don Brownlee, CPR, was curious about the The 2010 Chevy Silverado 2 mode hybrid pick up. The pickup, available this summer comes equipped with 300-Volt NiMH battery pack on an aluminum-block 6.0 liter pushrod V8. The transmission utilizes 4 fixed gear ratios with two 60-kilowatt electric motors with planetary gearsets - providing full sized pickup truck performance and hybrid fuel economy.
