Electric vehicle ecosystem stakeholders from across the globe converged on Montreal in June for the 29th Electric Vehicle Symposium. At the keynote plenary session host city of Montreal Mayor Denis Coderre unveiled Montreal’s 10 point electrification plan, including the addition of 1,000 charging stations across the city.

The over 2,000 delegates in attendance could choose from over 50 lecture sessions ranging from predicting real world EV performance, wireless charging technology updates to electric drive in medium and heavy-duty applications and more. Delegates and members of the public could participate in a ride, drive and charge event featuring the latest EV models through old Montreal’s historic streets.

The EVS 29 trade show featured over 125 exhibitors displaying the latest and greatest in EV technology, support and innovation. The symposium also featured courtesy electric and hybrid car sharing throughout the event from Communauto, technical tours and plenty of networking opportunities
