The 2018 Auto Remarketing Canada conference welcomed over 650 registered attendees in the fleet, remarketing, automotive finance and retail sectors, to the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto recently.

For 2018, workshops and sessions were split into three tracks; retail, auto finance, and remarketing and fleet. In all the conference had 39 speakers, 32 educational sessions, 186 registered dealers (including the most independent dealers ever), and over 12 hours of networking.

“Auto Remarketing 2018 was another success for the used car industry in Canada,” said Bill Zadeits, Conference Chair, Auto Remarketing Canada. “The event once again was able to draw leaders from all corners of the industry: franchise and independent dealers, OEMs, captives, fleets, banks, suppliers and more. The event will return to Toronto next spring for its tenth consecutive year in the city.”

The always popular Expo Hall was the central meeting place of the show, with many using the area to network with other industry professionals. For 2018, networking breaks were extended to give attendees more time to speak with industry colleagues. Exhibitors included: ADESA, CARPROOF, Impact, North Toronto Auction, and Tire Kicker Inspections.

Day one of the show opened with a keynote by Drew Harden from CARPROOF, presenting “The Used Car Purchase Journey – What Your Customers Aren’t Telling You. An Executive Leader Roundtable highlighted day two featuring “Important Insights and Intel Impacting Remarketing and Pre-Owned,”.

Attendees in 2018 were able to find agendas, speakers, locations, and more on the show’s official mobile app. ARC 2019 will once again return to Toronto in the Spring of next year.
