Fiat Chrysler Automobiles hosted select fleet customers at its annual VIP Night Fleet Reception at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, Ontario.

“FCA played host to many members of our fleet management community at the Auto Show once again this year,” said Wayne Rose, Senior Vice-President, Jim Pattison Lease. “Each year they provide us with the opportunity to view their product line but also to view what is new in the Industry in general. Thank you very much to our hosts for providing us with this opportunity.”

The event welcomed 175 individuals from accounts, fleet management companies and upfitters.

“The FCA team hosted a wonderful interactive evening displaying a fantastic line up a vehicles focused on safety, efficiency and fun,” said Darlene Spriel, Director Fleet Solutions, Foss National Leasing. “I am excited to drive the new Pacific Hybrid model to test its fuel savings real soon.”

Ken Tuckey, Senior Manager, National Fleet and Commercial Vehicles, and Bernie Moorcroft, National Commercial Sales Manager, FCA Canada, welcomed those in attendance for coming and highlighted the features of the 2017 Jeep Compass and 2017 Chrysler Pacifica PHEV.

“Fiat Chrysler continues to outdo themselves year after year with their VIP event,” said Mark Boutilier, Director of Business and Fleet Development, Action Car and Truck Accessories. “It was a great atmosphere with many vehicles on display like the new Jeep Compass, Pacifica and of course RAM trucks.”

Pierre Retelle, FCA Product Trainer presented a walk-around of the Compass to attendees.

“The FCA Canada Fleet VIP Event is a highly anticipated event each year. It is clear that expectations are high, not only here in Canada but in the global market as well, for the all new Jeep Compass that was on display,” said Paul Wingate, Strategic Consulting Services, Element Fleet Management. “Attention was also focused on the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, the industry’s first plug-in minivan that is built in Windsor, Ontario. Aided by substantial financial incentives available in several provinces, it will be interesting to see what the fleet penetration will be for this vehicle.”
