CAF spoke to a wide variety of Canadian attendees at the 2018 NAFA Institute and Expo. Here is what they had to say about the 2018 NAFA I&E show.

Quinn Regis, Account Manager, Fleet Card & Insurance - Belron Canada
"This was my 1st experience at a NAFA IE. I would say it was exciting and very informative. A must go for anyone who is involved in the fleet industry."

Thomas Roth. Manager, Fleet & Corporate Sales - Volkswagen Canada
“Once again the NAFA I&E was a great event that gave me the opportunity to meet with many fleet professionals that I had not previously met. It also gave me a chance to catch up with many familiar faces as well. Together with my colleagues at Volkswagen of America, we were able to meet and spend time with current and potential customers to introduce them to our new and exciting vehicle lineup. Overall, the conference is a great venue for new and experienced fleet managers to learn about the fleet business as well as cultivate new relationships.”

Jeff Hartley, President - Foss National Leasing
"What a great opportunity to network with the North American industry and to get a better understanding of where the new technologies are taking us. Both from a technical and a policy perspective. For those of us from Ontario, it was a nice change of weather!"

Ian Crapper, Director, Global Business Development - Donlen
"This year’s NAFA show was excellent. Great turnouts for all of the breakouts this year including a full room for the 2 Canadian focused discussions. It was a record NAFA for Donlen as well, as 2018 NAFA I&E attendees had the opportunity to learn from Donlen’s experts during six educational sessions at this year’s conference. . The educational sessions covered a wide range of topics including fleet management best practices and insights and actionable steps that fleet professionals can take to be ready for the latest trends in fleet, such as mobility. We also hosted our annual Wednesday night concert. This year was “Donlan’s 90’s Palooza” held at the House of Blues where more that 500 Fleet professional danced the night away to the sounds of the 90’s by our guest band Nerdvanna."

Marc Chiarella, Senior Specialist, Fleet & Sales Operations - Mazda Canada Inc.
"The 2018 NAFA IE was a nice event and was held in a very nice venue. It was a great opportunity to be amongst fleet peers from across North America. Also, it was a good opportunity for OEMs to foster relationships with fleet professionals and FMCs."

Barb Tilly, - Ford of Canada
"The NAFA I&E was informative and interesting.  It was a great opportunity to meet with others in the fleet industry; to connect with customers, partners and other fleet professionals and share ideas. And, the educational sessions were insightful."

Shawn Bryan, National Fleet/EV/Remarketing Manager - Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada Inc.
"Luc Grenier and I found last week’s NAFA event to be interesting and informative. It was a great environment for networking opportunities, building relationships and getting a general 'feel' for the fleet industry. It also gave us a chance to speak directly with current and potential fleet clients/customers."
