Chrysler Group LLC appointed Laura J. Soave as Head of the Fiat Brand for North America. Soave will work to integrate Fiat into sales, marketing, service and dealer networks. She will report to Chrysler CEO, Sergio Marchionne. “Her rich background will serve as a springboard for reintroducing the Fiat brand when it takes to U.S. and Canadian roads this December after more than a 25-year absence,” said Marchionne.

Rhett Gerrard becomes Fleet Account Executive for Western Canada and
Juan Gutierrez is named Fleet Account Specialist for Ontario and Atlantic. Gerrard’s focus will be on commercial, daily rental and government accounts, Gutierrez’s on fleet sales in Ontario and Atlantic Canada as well as providing support to national fleet office analysis programs.

Chris was recently CFO for Microsoft Corp.

ARI has promoted
Roy Gaysek to the position of Executive Vice-President and COO responsible for sales, service and operations. Gaysek has been with ARI since 1993 and during that time held senior positions including: (VP, senior VP and executive VP) of sales and service. Gaysek reports to Fred Booth President.
Chris Conroy has been named Senior Vice-President of Sales and Service responsible for fleet solutions, client services and account management. He will report to Gaysek. Conroy joined ARI in 1994, his responsibilities have included: district sales manager, director client services and sales development, as well as senior VP of operations. Both appointments take effect January 10, 2010.

Whiton’s responsibilities include: overseeing replacement commercial tire sales to dealers and vehicle fleets in Canada; managing, training and supervising sales personnel; and developing ContiTread product sales in Canada. Whiton has gained extensive experience in the commercial tire industry. She reports to Shaun Uys, director of replacement tire sales for Continental – The Americas, Whiton is stationed in Toronto, Ontario.
