Geoff Lander has been appointed Key Account Manager in the Corporate Sales Department at Mercedes-Benz Canada. Lander's more than 20 years of feet experience has been in fleet management and fleet software sales. He will be responsible for managing current fleet accounts in Ontario and Western Canada and working with dealerships in their local markets to develop new business.

Alonso Martin has been named Account Manager at Automotive Resources International (ARI). Martin has had more than 12 years in fleet and account management, and recent finance industry experience. He joins ARI's team of 14 national account managers and is located at ARI headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario.

Karen Chetcuti has joined Foss National Leasing as an Account Manager in the Calgary office. Chetcuti has been in fleet management for 30 years, with more than nine years in account management.

Wolfgang Hoffmann.
Wolfgang Hoffmann has been named President of Audi Canada effective March 2012. He succeeds Martin Sander who becomes Managing Director of Audi UK.

“I am extremely excited by this opportunity and am looking forward to building on the successes of Audi Canada. Since forming in 2008 Audi Canada has been setting one record after another,” said Hoffmann. “With our upcoming product offerings I am confident this will continue. On a personal note my family and I are very happy to be beginning a new chapter in Canada.”

With Audi AG since 1997, most recently Hoffman was Chief Operating Office of Automobili Lamborghini America LLC.

Andre Hilliges has been appointed Field Sales Manager Central Region for Mercedes-Benz Vans. Hilliges has extensive national corporate sales,fleet and retail experience, and has been with Mercedes-Benz for more than five years. Based in Mississauga , Ontario and responsible for leading regional retail van teams Hilliges will also focus on strengthening customer and national leasing company relationships.

Maggie Wilson is Foss National's new Account Executive based in Calgary, Alberta. She has more than 10 years fleet management experience, with previous responsibilities in print, advertising, and client services. Wilson will be focus on new business development in Western Canada.

TLS Fleet Management has appointed two new Vice-Presidents Sales and Client Services; Phil Gilmour will take over Sales and Client Services for Eastern Canada and Blake Karasiuk in Western Canada. Previously VP Client Services, Gilmour returns to TLS in the newly designated role. She will be responsible for sales and client services operations in TLS Toronto and Montreal offices. Karasiuk for Sales and Client Services in TLS Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and Winnipeg offices.

Effective January 2012, Seiji Ichii becomes the President and CEO of Toyota Canada Inc., he will replace Yoichi Tomihara who moves to Toyota's European market on a senior executive assignment, after spending the past five years as President for Toyota Canada. Ichii has been with Toyota for over 30 years, serving abroad in management positions including most recently at Toyota's Central and South Africa division. Earlier, Ichii had been in Canada between 1989 and 1994. He holds a Masters degree in International Relations from Japan's International University and is a graduate of Economic Faculty of Kyoto University.

Michel Perras has been appointed General Manager of Manheim Montreal by Manheim Canada effective January 1. He has been with the automotive auction industry for more than 10 years, most recently as assistant general manager of Manheim Montreal.

"Perras has done a fantastic job leading the team at Manheim Montreal for the last several months, and I am very pleased to have him in the general manager role in this important market,” said Brad Hart, Vice-President, Manheim Canada. Steve Milette has been appointed Director of Fleet and Commercial Sales at General Motors Canada. Milette has spend over 15 years with GM Canada in various managerial roles, most recently as Zone Manager Sales for Eastern Canada. He is responsible for fleet and commercial sales as well as remarketing of used vehicles in Canada. Milette holds a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University, and an Executive MBA from Universite du Quebec in Montreal and Univesite de Paris-Dauphine.

Scott Reimer joins Foss National Leasing as Vice President, Sales. Reimer has over 20 years sales and senior management experience in the equipment leasing industry as well as many years in fleet management. Most recently, Reimer managed the lease and finance division for a national manufacturer and distributor of materials handling equipment while also filling the role of fleet manager for a large vehicle fleet. He will be responsible for new business development for Foss National in Canada.

Paul Turner has been named President of EMKAY Canada, he has over 30 years of senior management and leadership experience in both fleet and retail sides of the automotive industry. Most recently Turner was with TLS Fleet Management (Transportaction), as Senior Vice-President Sales and Client Services.

Dianne Craig has been named President and CEO of Ford Motor Company of Canada. Craig's pre-decessor, David Mondragon becomes General Marketing Manager for Ford and Lincoln in the U.S. She has been with Ford since 1986 and has held a wide range of positions in sales and marketing; most recently as General Manager for the Southeast Market Area in the U.S.

“Dave’s contributions to Ford of Canada during the last three years have been significant. He led the team through one of the most tumultuous times in the industry and successfully grew the business, bringing new customers to Ford,” said Mark Fields, Ford’s president of The Americas. “This positive marketplace momentum will continue to build as Dianne shares her extensive dealer relations skills, sales background and marketing expertise with the Ford of Canada team.”

Karen Mongelli has been named Vice-President Government Sales and Account Management at Webtech Wireless Inc. Mongelli has extensive fleet management experience, including sales, account management and operations. She will be based in the Toronto, Ontario office. Webtech also appointed David Greer as Vice-President Marketing; and Micheal Harris and Scott Swank as Regional Business Managers, located in Chicago, Illinois and Atlanta, Georgia respectively.

Chris Hill has been named President and CEO of Electric Mobility Canada (EMC) effective January 1, 2012. The organization is a not-for-profit industry association, which promotes electric mobility. Membership is made up of companies involved in surface transportation. Hill has more than 30 years fleet experience in the private and public sectors; he has held fleet responsibilities with the Cities of Hamilton and Toronto as well as with GE Capital Fleet Services. Hill is active in various organizations including the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA).

"Although I am leaving fleet management, I am not leaving the fleet world, which has begun to make significant commitments to electric vehicles," said Hill.

He replaces David Shuttleworth, who becomes Ford's Marketing Plans Manager for Commercial Vehicles. Garbett has over 38 years automotive industry experience, including Dealer Sales and Fleet Service Management responsibilities.

Thornton will lead GE’s Vendor Experience Team and will focus on managing GE’s vendor network in Canada. He will also be responsible for leading the service delivery for GE’s Telematics and suite of Driver Safety/Accident solutions and optimizing vendor activities for new vehicle ordering/delivery. Thornton has over 15 years fleet management experience including business development, account management and client relations.
