Rik Roe is the Sprinter Specialist for Mercedes-Benz at the West Island Retail Operation in Montreal, Quebec. Roe has more than 20 years sales, commercial and OEM experience. He joins Mercedes-Benz Commercial Sales Team in one of two corporately owned dealerships in Montreal. Roe is responsible for introducing the Sprinter franchise to the region.

Andy Maynard joins Mercedes-Benz Canada, Toronto Retail Operations as Sprinter Specialist. He has more than 15 years upfitting and OEM experience. Maynard joins Mercedes-Benz Commercial Sales Team working with seven corporately owned dealerships across the Greater Toronto Area accounting for the largest inventory allocation of Sprinters in Canada.

Cheryl Munce has been appointed as General Manager for Manheim Toronto by Manheim Canada.

“Cheryl brings a wealth of industry knowledge and management expertise to this role” said Brad Hart, Vice-President, Manheim Canada, “She has built strong relationships within Manheim and with our customers and industry associates, and she’ll continue to be instrumental in driving our business and growth in Canada."

Munce has 30 years automotive industry experience and joined Manheim in 2006. Most recently, she was Vice-President of Strategy, Online and Business Development for Manheim properties in Canada.

Ajax Nissan has appointed Ken Jacobs as its Commercial Vehicle and Fleet Manager. Jacobs has over 10 years automotive experience ranging from new car to commercial truck sales and will be responsible for building Ajax Nissan’s fleet and commercial sales and service business. Ajax Nissan is a certified Nissan Commercial Vehicle retailer.

“I am excited about the opportunity to share the Nissan NV value story to businesses in our area and to let fleet customers of all sizes know that Ajax Nissan is fully committed to all their business vehicle needs,” said Jacobs.

Reid Bigland.
Reid Bigland has been appointed President and CEO of the Dodge Car Brand and Head of United States Sales, he will remain as President and CEO of Chrysler Canada. David Buckingham has been named Chief Operating Officer, Chrysler Canada, and will report to Bigland. Other appointment: Ralph Gilles becomes President and CEO of Street and Racing Technology (SRT) brand, Chrysler’s cross-brand performance unit and Chrysler’s motorsport activities; Fred Diaz, is now President and CEO of Chrysler de Mexico (including Latin America) and continues as President and CEO of Ram Truck brand; Joe ChamaSrour joins International Operations.

Ken Blackburn.
Ken Blackburn is the new Strategic Marketing Manager, Canada for GE Capital Fleet Services. Blackburn's marketing background covers more than 20 years with Mars Incorporated, Nestle Purina and others. Blackburn takes over from Sumair Mirza now Senior Operations Leader, Canada. Mirza has carried out a variety of roles with GE over the past seven years, his new responsibility covers for the business' product and service delivery.

Michael Colleran is now Vice-President of Field Sales and Sales Operations at Nissan Canada Inc. He has been with in the automotive industry for some 23 years, including time at Saab Automotive AB and General Motors. Colleran's focus will be to assert Nissan’s Canadian sales operations.

“We are so pleased to have Michael join the Nissan team here in Canada, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in a variety of different roles,” said Allen Childs, President, Nissan Canada. “In this newly formed position, Michael will help further strengthen the incredible sales team Nissan has across the country.”

Patrick Saint-Pierre has been appointed Public Relations Manager at Kia Canada Inc., succeeding Jack Sulymka. He will be responsible for media promotion supporting the Kia brand.

Saint-Pierre has extensive experience, including a successful 14-year career at Volkswagen Canada and Volkswagen of America in public relations, product planning and sales.

Louise Yako has been named President and CEO for The BC Trucking Association (BCTA). With BCTA for 15 years Yako was most recently Vice-President of Policy, Communications and Partnerships. She will be responsible for the management of BCTA and promoting the interests of BCTA members and the trucking industry generally.

Alex McFarlane has been appointed Fleet Manager at Brampton Chrysler in Brampton, Ontario. McFarlane has over 17 years of automotive fleet and lease experience. He will be responsible for building on Brampton Chrysler’s long tradition of commitment and service to corporate and commercial customers.
