General Motors said it would install up to 40,000 EV charging stations in the U.S. and Canada as part of its commitments to increase its presence in the sector. The automaker said on Oct 26th, it would expand home, workplace and public charging infrastructure through its Ultium Charge 360 ecosystem, adding it would focus the installations in rural and urban areas with limited access to support wide spread adoption of electric vehicles. The charging stations will be available to all EV customers, not solely for those who purchase GM vehicles.
