Canada’s largest horticultural trade show and conference returned to the Toronto Congress Centre on January 7th to 9th. Landscape Ontario Congress had over 15,000 green professionals from all sectors attend the three day event. Attendees had the opportunity to visit over 600 international exhibitors across 8 acres of show floor including work trucks of every size and description. Fleet focused companies including Jim Pattison Leasing, Nissan, General Motors, FCA, Isuzu and others had booths at the show, showcasing their fleet products and services.
Dozens of information sessions, workshops and multiple keynote presentations were put on through out the event. The three day conference also included events such as the Safe Vehicle Refresher Demo where Toronto and York Region Police officers, along with the OPP, took a hands-on approach with how to apply the Daily Vehicle Inspection rules, pre-trip inspection reports and itemize defects in compliance with Ontario regulations. Attendees learned how to conduct a proper circle inspection and how safe operation helps avoid hefty tickets and fines. Other featured events included a new product showcase, peer-to-peer workshops, IPM symposium and more.
