The NAFA Ontario Chapter hosted its 2019 Annual Golf Tournament at the King Valley Golf Club on June 4th. Over 120 golfers took part in the full day event which was in support of the Sick Kids Hospital. The annual golf tournament is always a great opportunity for attendees to network with their fleet industry friends and colleagues.
The day featured a BBQ buffet, 50/50 tickets, a putting contest, prize give away’s and more. All proceeds were added to NAFA’s Sick Kids Hospital donation which totaled $18,000 dollars. Golfers were also treated to a reception following their rounds which featured a silent auction.
The event was a significant one for Mark Boutilier, who will be retiring from his role as NAFA Ontario Chapter Chair. "As this is my last official act as NAFA Ontario Chapter Chair, I'd like to take the opportunity to thank the Fleet Community for their continued support of NAFA and our mission of education and networking. Thank you to the entire NAFA Ontario Executive Committee for the dedicated work in achieving continued success." said Mark.
The day was made possible thanks to NAFA’s OEM and FMC sponsors. “I’m proud to have represented Mercedes-Benz at the annual NAFA Ontario Golf Tournament,” says Iain Forsyth, National Manager, Mercedes-Benz Vans. “As an event sponsor and an active member of NAFA, we understand the value of supporting relationship-building within the province’s vibrant Fleet industry, not to mention the importance of raising money for such a good cause.”
