Element Fleet Management held its annual Pharma Fleet Symposium recently. The event brought together fleet managers from some of Canada’s largest pharmaceutical companies to share best practices and review results of Elements annual Pharma Fleet survey. Topics of interest covered during the day included adoption of emerging in vehicle safety technology, changes in pharma fleet vehicle selection, strategies to consolidate vehicle selector choice, managing driver behavior and others.
Element’s Baljit Kang and Tim McGhee presented on select new 2020 vehicle offerings and remarketing respectively. Paula Arango, Element, led the fleet policy survey results discussion. 2019 survey result highlights include; pharma fleets increasingly tailoring vehicle depreciation by kilometre bands, a continued migration into vehicles with smaller displacement engines, a decrease in car allowance programs and planned increases for personal use charge (PUC) programs.
