Dhivya Suryadevara will become General Motor’s new CFO, joining CEO Mary Barra. GM is the first automaker to have two women in top executive roles. General Motor’s current CFO, Chuck Stevens will be retiring on September 1st of this year and be succeeded by Dhivya Suryadevara.
Suryadevara was GM’s vice president of corporate finance prior to assuming her new role as CFO. Dhivya holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
