Foss National Leasing and LeasePlan Canada’s Purchasing and Implementation Manager, Monique Powers will be retiring on May 13th, 2021 after 37 years in the fleet management industry. She would have liked to say her goodbyes to her fleet family during NAFA golf in Montreal and Toronto but unfortunately cannot due to the current restrictions.
Monique initially looked to retire in 2013 but took up the challenge when she received a call from Foss National Leasing. She came onboard the Foss National Leasing Team with the starting up of LeasePlan Canada. She describes the evolution of her role and team as, “The first few years my focus had been on implementation and getting all these new clients set up and assisting purchasing wherever I could. The focus eventually shifted to re-structuring the purchasing department and working on automation. I was successful in building a very strong Purchasing team over the last 6 years but it’s time to move back East. I thank Foss National Leasing Ltd and LeasePlan Canada Inc for the opportunity to be part of such a successful team. As a Manager you are only as good as the people you hire. I thank everybody over the years that I had an opportunity to work with.”
The Foss National Leasing / LeasePlan Canada team wishes Monique a happy retirement and thanks her sincerely for her contributions and dedication over the years.
