FCA Group’s award winning 3.6-litre Pentastar V-6 ranks as Canada’s Best Selling Engine for its sixth consecutive year, according to IHSMarkit Automotive Canadian New Vehicle Registrations.
First introduced in the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Pentastar has been named six times to Wards 10 Best Engines List. Assemmbled in three FCA facilities, overall Pentastar production will reach the 10 million mark in 2019. In Canada, the 3.6-litre Pentastar V-6 engine is available in 14 FCA vehicles, or over half of the full model lineup.
